Our Story

We are a French owned pastry and cake shop in the lively Vancouver neighbourhood of Mount Pleasant in Vancouver, BC. Regularly voted among Vancouver's best bakeries and cafes, it offers high-quality and reasonably priced coffee, breads, donuts, pastries, sandwiches, cakes, cookies and more. Dominique Ansel

Cuppa was created in 2015 by Dominique Ansel. Driven by his passion, he wakes up every day to create the finest French pastries with a touch of Provence, including croissants, pain au chocolat, macarons, nougat, Paris-Brest, mille-feuille, and more.

"I am from the South of France and my deepest and oldest memories are with my grandparents. As a kid, I spent my time between their garden and their kitchen. This is where I fell in love with baking."
